Guruvayoor Temple
Located at a distance of 32 kilometers from Trichur, Guruvayoor temple is a very famous pilgrimage that is well known all over the world. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, known as Guruvayoorappan, a mere glimpse of the grand idol adorned in flowers and precious stones, is enough for you to feel truly blessed by the Lord.

Ariyannoor Temple
This temple is famous for its carved gable that is beautifully decorated. It has been compared with the works of superior artists like Louise Nevelson, an American artist. This temple is dedicated to Hari Kanyaka and is said to have been built around 14th century AD. Though mostly in ruins now, it is definitely worth a visit. It is now a protected monument under law.

Athirapilly Waterfalls
A very popular picnic and recreation spot, this 80 feet high waterfall is a splendid sight and it attracts a large number of tourists and locals. It is located at a distance of 63 kilometers from Trichur and is situated at the onset of Sholayar Ranges.

Koodalmanikyam Temple
This is the only temple in India that is dedicated to Bharata, brother of Lord Rama of the Hindu mythology. The temple is famous for its annual festival, which takes place in the months of April-May that marks the end of the festival season in Kerala.

Viralimalai
Located at a distance of 30 kilometers from Trichur, this place is famous for the Lord Subramanya Temple. The place also has a sanctuary for the national bird of India, peacocks.
